Clarecastle Ballyea Community Games Chess
A team from of pupils from 1st, 3rd, 4th and 5th Classes took part in the Clarecastle Ballyea Community Games chess competition yesterday. They have had a number of evenings of practice in the West County with John Cassidy the Clare Community Games event organiser over the last week and a half and all seemed to really enjoy the preparation time. There were a number of teams taking part in the event but unfortunately our team was unfortunately beaten by Quin on the day. Our team did us proud as you can see happy faces in the photo from afterwards.
