Engineers week 2020

Engineers week was a fantastic success yet again this year. From building money bridges in junior infants to Newton’s cradle in 5th class and the Eiffel Tower in 1st class there was fantastic engagement in the enginneeeing process across the whole school.

All of these wonderful creations will be submitted as part of our Plaque of STEM award application for 2020.

A special thank you to our engineering  parents Ethel Slattery and David McParland for visiting our senior classes with fantastic presentations on engineering. David also brought his colleague Peadar to give a presentation.

It is wonderful to show the children how engineeering can be part of their career choice.
